ST. MARYS — St. Marys Area High School Band Parents will hold their annual Holiday Bazaar 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 11 at the school, 977 S. St. Marys Road.
The craft and vendor bazaar runs in the cafeteria and gym as well as several school hallways. The event, which has been running for more than 40 years, is always well attended and anticipated by surrounding communities and vendors the second week of November each year. This year’s show is once again fully booked, expecting more than 150 vendors to fill 248 spaces. A wide variety of items will be offered.
The bazaar benefits the SMAHS marching band, drumline, indoor and outdoor color guard and the dance team. Vendor setup is slated to begin 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. until the event begins at 9 a.m. Saturday.
SMAHS band parents will hold a basket raffle in the auditorium with more than 140 items donated by vendors and will serve food and drinks in the cafeteria. Funds raised will help the band offset fees from Tournament of Bands (TOB) and Tournament Indoor Association (TIA) dues, staff fees, U-Haul rental and fuel, prop purchases, flags for the color guard and flooring.
