Allegheny Mountain Arts Gallery, 181 Main St., will host an exhibition of work by New York native Samuel Ward Stanton at 3 p.m. Nov. 18.
Stanton was an American steamboat artist who died on the Titanic. His pen and ink depictions of steamboats will be on display.
The gallery, open 1 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, is owned by local artists Rick Minard and Greg Souchik. Local art is consistently on display and for sale, in addition to antiques, gifts, t-shirts, mugs, art classes and exhibits by visitings artists.
