CLEARFIELD — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced B&P Railroad will close Route 46, North Kendall Avenue, in the City of Bradford on Nov. 13 to improve one of its railroad crossings.
While this work occurs, traffic will be detoured to East Main Street following Route 346, and U.S. Route 219 back to East Main Street. PennDOT urges drivers to anticipate delays and to build extra time into their travel schedules while this work takes place.
PennDOT anticipates the detour remaining in place through Nov. 17, but all work is weather dependent.
PennDOT reminds motorists to use caution near the work zone, remain alert for railroad operators and equipment, approach railroad crossings carefully and “always expect a train.”
