Are you a professional truck driver with the ability to make a delivery or two on Dec. 16 this year? Is it something you would be willing to ask your company about this year?
Wreaths Across America, an organization that supports more than 2 million volunteers in laying wreaths on the graves of fallen military members, is in need of transportation partners.
“Transportation partners who join us as volunteers will become a part of our ‘Honor Fleet,’ get the opportunity to give back in recognition of the sacrifice our veterans make, and have opportunities for recognition from our organization, veterans programs, local media and more. We’re happy to support you in any way we can as a partner of our organization,” organizers said.
Honor Fleet members are supported by logistics and transportation teams from Wreaths Across America. There are more than 600 loads of sponsored wreaths to be transported all over the country, according to the press release. In 2022, 567 truckloads were delivered.
“Delivering this cherished cargo is an honor, and WAA’s dedicated volunteers ensure that your arrival carries the weight of gratitude and respect. Join hands with Wreaths Across America and be a part of something truly meaningful,” the press release states.
Direct routes and deliveries to multiple stops are available. Trailer wraps are also a way to show support, with a portion of the order price donated to Wreaths Across America. Orders are due no later than Nov. 1 and pricing varies. To sign up, to support the fund financially or for more information, visit Wreaths Across America online at wreathsacrossamerica.org.
