SALAMANCA, N.Y. — Families are invited to a spooky family Halloween bike ride set 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at Allegany State Park’s Red House Picnic Shelter.

Registration, potluck, crafts and games are planned from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., followed by the last-light costume bike ride from 6:30 to 7:15. Deck out your bikes and dress in your spookiest, funniest and most creative costumes for a bewitching bike ride through last light. Then from 7:15 to 8 o’clock, take part in the Bat Chat, costume awards and pinata party. Engage in Bat Chat as we share fascinating facts about these mysterious creatures.
