The Penn State Extension office in McKean County, located at 17129 U.S. Route 6 in Smethport is offering free pressure canner gauge testing on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m.
Appointments are not necessary. If unable to attend during this time, call (814) 887-5613, ext, 200 to make arrangements to drop off your lid and gauge at the extension office prior to Tuesday. Participants will be notified when their gauge has been tested.
