The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation McKean County maintenance announced the following work schedule for the week of May 29 — June 2, weather permitting.
Sign repairs and upgrades, bridge repair and mowing will be done in various places throughout the county.
Patching will be done on Christian Hollow Road and on Route 646 from Rew to Red Rock.
Crack sealing will be done on Route 155 from the Potter County line to Port Allegany.
Pipe replacement is taking place on McCrae Brook and on Columbia Hill Road in Rixford.
Pipe repair will take place on Red Mill Road and on Route 46 from the Cameron County line to Crosby.
Ditching will be done on Route 346 in Foster Brook to Red Rock.
The following work is scheduled to be completed by contractor, weather permitting:
L.C. Whitford, Bridge replacement on Barnum Road; traffic control with a contractor who will be using flaggers during work hours to control the flow of traffic.
Jefferson Paving will be doing roadway repairs on Red Mill Road. The contractor will be utilizing flaggers on Route 146 during work hours to control the flow of traffic
Motorists should travel with extra caution in these and all work areas. Motorists should be aware that due to the nature of highway maintenance and emergency work, crews could be working on any highway at any time of the day or night.
