What a wonderful day Saturday turned out to be — crisp, cool, and sunny. Fall was in the air. And, what better way to enjoy a fall day than at Historic Downtown Bradford’s Pumpkin Fest.
From a free movie in the morning at the Bradford Main Street Movie House to dance performances by the Queen B Dancers of Studio B Dance Academy all afternoon and the Pitt-Bradford Kids Zone, there were plenty of activities for children this year. The rock wall, haunted house, and inflatable wrecking ball were some of the biggest hits.
And, the adults could have some fun listening to bands and musical performances throughout the day, too. This year’s line up included Jim Ronan & Dana Jared, STEPS Singers & Various Artists, and Kevin Abbott & Grant Orris. The entertainment kept Chambers Street bumping.
Many Bradford businesses were set up in the downtown area as were vendors of all kinds, selling food and offering various promotions to visitors.
The word on the street is that the event was a great success and everyone had a good time. The best part of Pumpkin Fest was the atmosphere and the hayride, according to several people who stopped by to chat during the event.
