The Bradford Gun Club has announced its upcoming events.
On Sunday BGC will hold its final trap shoot for 2022 registered with the Amateur Trapshooting Association. The office will open at 9 a.m. and the first event will begin at 10.
The events will begin with 100 singles targets, followed by 100 handicap and 50 pair of doubles targets. The kitchen will be open for breakfast and lunch.
On Oct. 2, BGC will host the William Hanley Sr. Lodge # 67 Fraternal Order of Police Fall Ironman Shoot. This event requires participating shooters to fire at 25 each of Skeet, 5-Stand and Trap targets as well as 50 Sporting clays targets.
Registration will open at 9 a.m. and all entries will close at 11. The $75 entry fee includes a $15 Lewis Class and a buffet lunch. A limited supply of shells will be available for sale.
On Oct. 23, Oct. 30, Nov. 6 and Nov.13, there will be turkey shoots at BGC. These shoots will begin at 11 a.m. and will feature plate shoots, protections, Annie Oakleys and splatter boards, in addition to turkeys, hams, steaks and pork loins will be awarded as prizes. The kitchen will be open for lunch.
BGC is open on Wednesdays from 4-8 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for trap, skeet 5-Stand and sporting clays practice. The public is welcome. For more info on events, visit the club’s website.
