POTTER TOWNSHIP (TNS) — Three people, including a 14-year-old boy, are dead after being trapped inside a farm silo in Centre County Wednesday morning.
Emergency responders arrived at the Amish family farm on Lower Brush Valley Road in Potter Township sometime after 7 a.m. in response to reports of the entrapment, according to WJAC.
Those dead include a 47-year-old, a 19-year-old and a 14-year-old, according to the Centre Daily Times.
State police officers from Rockview are at the scene of the incident, according to Trooper Christopher Fox, a state police spokesman in Centre County.
OSHA has been called to the scene, according to the Centre Daily Times.
It wasn’t known how the three became trapped in the silo, and what caused their deaths.
