Today, at 1 p.m., in the Cameron County Courthouse Courtroom, Paul Malizia, Cameron County District Attorney; Mark Serge, Chief Deputy Attorney General, Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General; Chief David Merritt, Emporium Borough Police; and Angela Eckstrom, Executive Director of Cameron, Elk, McKean Counties Alcohol & Drug Abuse Services, will make the expansion of the Pennsylvania Law Enforcement Treatment Initiative official in Cameron County.
PA LETI is a law enforcement-led treatment initiative that will allow Pennsylvanians in Cameron County seeking treatment for substance use disorder to use their local law enforcement, county officials, and community stakeholders, to contact Cameron, Elk, McKean Counties Alcohol & Drug Abuse Services for treatment services without the threat of arrest.
