DUI AND DISORDERLY CONDUCT CHARGES BOUND TO COURT FOR BRADFORD RESIDENT
WARREN — William J. Brooks, 61, Bradford, was held for court during preliminary hearings held Wednesday, August 17, at the Warren County Courthouse. Brooks faces charges of DUI and disorderly conduct — obscene language/gesture.
BRAWL IN BRADFORD LANDS ONE IN MCKEAN CO. JAIL
According to reports, officers from the Bradford City police responded to a report of a fight involving approximately 20 people around 11 p.m. on Friday, August 19, on Kiwanis Court.
Before officers were on the scene, another report stated an individual had struck a person and a building with a vehicle. The individual then fled the scene.
Through their investigation, the officers discovered that Joseph Andrew Weaver, 33, of Spencerport, N.Y., had left the fight to get a vehicle and returned to the parking lot where he intentionally attempted to strike several individuals who were involved in the fight, one of which was struck by the vehicle and tossed into the air. The victim landed atop of another vehicle, and sustained injuries requiring medical treatment, per the reported information.
Weaver is charged with five counts of aggravated assault (felony), one count of aggravated assault, five counts of recklessly endangering another person, and a summary offense of reckless driving. He was arraigned by Judge Cercone and remanded to the McKean County Jail. Bail was set at $150,000.
KANE COUPLE ARRAIGNED ON FELONY CHARGES — STOLEN WEAPONS, DRUGS, INTENT TO DELIVER
LEWIS RUN — The Pennsylvania State Police Lewis Run station was assisted by the Kane Borough Police Department in the execution of a search warrant at a residence on Haines Street in Kane Borough, in McKean County, on July 27, 2022.
Through the investigation, Paul Robert McMahon and Marily McMahon, both of Kane, were found to be in possession of multiple stolen firearms, multiple stolen crossbows, a large amount of fentanyl/heroin, multiple bottles of controlled substances (pills), marijuana, scales, and items packaged to sell the listed drugs as well as a handwritten drug “menu.”
Both Robert and Marily McMahon were arraigned on multiple felony charges and remanded to the McKean County Jail on $400,000 straight bail.
The investigation is ongoing.
