The monthly Rifle and Pistol Competition will be staged at the McKean County Rifle club Saturday at 10 a.m.
There are two stages to the event, which may be entered separately.
The first shoot consists of 30 rounds with a centerfire rifle (any configuration) and 30 rounds with a centerfire handgun (any configuration).
Rifle is fired in three stages of 10 shots each: 50 yards offhand, 100 yards any position except bench rest, and 200 yards any position, including bench rest. Pistol is fired in 3 10 shot strings at 7, 15, and 25 yards, all offhand.
A .22 rimfire match will be held immediately following the centerfire match. Course of fire is the same for pistol, but rifle distances change to 50 yards offhand, 75 yards any position but bench rest, and 100 yards any position, including bench rest.
