PORT ALLEGANY — Summer Snack Attack is Back at the S.W. Smith Memorial Public Library in Port Allegany located at 201 E. Maple Street.
A free snack is available to any child (under 18 years old) from anywhere who stops by the library during normal operation hours this summer.
Thanks to Sheetz in Port Allegany for donating 10 cases of water to the free Summer Snack program, to the Port Allegany Women’s Club for donating funds toward the purchase of milk, and to the various library supporters who have made cash donations that will be used to purchase juice, milk, and fresh fruit for snack.
And, much thanks to Chop Out Hunger for supporting this vital program. CHOP donated microwavable meals, such as fruit and nut oatmeal and Mac ‘n Cheese, for children who need more than a snack.
