Elk County Catholic 10, St. Marys 2ST. MARYS — Elk County Catholic’s early damage was too much for St. Marys to overcome, as Tommy Slay and David Andeson each drove in two runs to lead the Crusaders.

Luke Ginther added two hits and an RBI, while Isaac Dellaquila had a hit and sored a run. Joe Tettis threw four strong innings for the Cruasders before Ben Paul came in for three no-hit innings of relief, the duo combining for 14 strikeouts.

Christian Coudriet and Logan Mosier each had a hit and an RBI to lead St. Marys.

SOFTBALLSt. Marys 5, Elk County Catholic 0ST. MARYS — Kendall Young dominated Elk County Catholic in a one-hit, 15-strikeout performance, leading St. Marys to a Friday victory.

The Lady Dutch ofense struck late, scoring a run in the 4th before adding two in the 5th and two more in the 6th. Rosa DePrator had a hit and two RBI for St. Marys, while Lindsey Reiter and Jianna Gerg each had a hit and an RBI.

Danielle Rolley went 2-for-3 for the Lady Dutch, adding an RBI.
