The Era’s Less Fortunate (ELF) Fund is postponing its upcoming golf outing due to thunderstorms in the forecast for Sunday.
The inaugural Elfin’ Around the Christmas Tee Golf Scramble is now slated for June 5 at The Pennhills Club.
Due to the date change, sign-ups have been extended to May 27. Sign-up forms can be found on the “Festival of Trees — ELF Fund” Facebook page.
The event is open to the public, not just members of Pennhills.
Cost is $60 per person or $225 per foursome. Golfers can either pay in advance by check or pay by credit card at the time of registration. Mail checks to PO Box 287, Bradford, PA 16701. Checks can be made payable to The ELF Fund.
On the day of the event, registration will begin at 12:30 p.m., and there will be a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start for the nine-hole event. The buffet meal will follow golfing. In addition to golf and food, the day will include a 50/50, prizes and extra games/activities at each hole, too.
Attendees are encouraged to wear holiday costumes.
