VFW Post 212 and Frances Sherman VFWA announce their annual in-house scholarship contest.
Graduating 2022 seniors accepted into a college, university or vocational school that are next of kin to a Post, Auxiliary or Social member in good standing of VFW Post 212 are eligible to apply. Rules and applications can be secured at the Post home at 94 Barbour St., Bradford.
The Reba Y. Maben & William ‘Mr. Bill’ Runyan scholarship was created in their memory to enhance graduating seniors going off to college.
Judging is based on Patriotism, Originality and Delivery. The Patriotic themed 300 word essay can be submitted by audio, visual or written. All rules/application must be followed for judging.
The patriotic theme essay contest is due May 1, 2022.
