ELDRED — The Otto-Eldred Bird Dawgs edged the Bradford Bird Busters, 181-175, in Bradford’s first and O-E’s second match of the trap competition season.
Sebastian Zona shot a perfect 25 for O-E, while Gracie DeLong, Kaden Price, Gavin Silvis and Austin Unverdorben turned in 23 each. Chase Gray led Bradford with a 24, while Clayton Brinsky and Sean Ward each shot 23 and Matt DeCasper added a 22.
Other scorers for O-E included Wyatt Farr (22), Gavin Bearce (21) and Jayden Stone (21). Other scorers for Bradford included Mason Anthony (21), Tommy Langdon (21), Harrison Morrisroe (21) and Mitchell Brinsky (20).
Bradford will host Smethport Tuesday, while O-E will be back in action against Coudersport on April 5 after a week off.

SHINGLEHOUSE — Brayden Cosper’s 24 helped lead Smethport over Oswayo Valley on Tuesday.
Cole Szuba added a 23 for Smethport, while Konner Miller tacked on 21, Bryan Young scored 20 and Colton Furgeson added 19. Jackie Davis shot 18 for Smethport, while a quartet of shooters — including Josh Erickson, Kate Dunn, Ben Harris and Cole Walker — each scored 17.
Oswayo Valley was led by Zane Harvey and Alex Harmon, who each shot 23. Aiden Resig added a 21 while Alex Carver shot 17. Other scorers for OV included Connor Howard (16), Dana Williams (14), Caiden Good (13) and Cariella Johnston (13).
