The McKean County State Health Center has more free COVID test kits to distribute.
The center, at 84-90 Boylston St., Bradford, will distribute tests today and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and March 21 and 25, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Test kits are free for everyone. Those stopping in to get kits must wear a mask. Each individual will receive four test kits.
As of Monday, McKean County didn’t have any new cases of COVID-19, and had a cumulative total of 8,129. According to the health department data, the last COVID death in the county was on Feb. 22 for a total of 138.
The positivity rate as of Monday was 4.9%, the health department reported.
As of Friday, 57% of county residents had at least one dose of the vaccine; 11.1% were partially covered; 45.9% were fully covered; and 18.9% had received a booster dose.
Elk County had one new case for a total of 7,098. The last COVID death in the county was on March 4 for a cumulative total of 97.
The positivity rate as of Monday was 5.3%.
As for vaccines, as of Friday, 64% of residents had at least one vaccine dose; 6.2% were partially covered; 57.7% were fully covered; and 28.4% received a booster dose.
Potter County had two new cases for a total of 3,146. There were two COVID deaths on Feb. 14, but none since, for a cumulative total of 91.
The positivity rate was 9.3%.
As for vaccines, as of Friday, 46.1% had at least one dose; 7.8% were partially covered; 38.3% were fully covered; and 16.7% had received a booster dose.
Cameron County had no new cases, with a cumulative total of 813. The last COVID death was recorded on Feb. 4, for a cumulative total of 19.
The positivity rate was at zero.
As for vaccines, the last rate available was recorded on Friday. For Cameron County, 62.6% of residents have at least one vaccine dose; 5.5% are partially covered; 57.2% are fully covered; and 29% obtained a booster dose.
