GALETON — The game was closer than the final score may have suggested.
But, after trailing Galeton at halftime, Northern Potter’s offense erupted in the second half and ran away from the Lady Tigers in a 61-36 road triumph. Courtney Martin led NoPo with 16 points, five rebounds and five steals, while Riley Thompson added 10 points.
“The team found its shots in the second half, especially (Thompson), who hit them at just the right time,” said NoPo coach Casey Cady.
Rebecca Martin turned in a double-double for the Lady Panthers, scoring 13 points to go with 11 rebounds. Alli Macensky’s 13 points paced Galeton.
