WARREN — Emma Ruhlman and Riley Childress were an offense unto themselves in Warren’s 65-19 win over Bradford.
The duo scored 23 points apiece, each complimenting the others skillset.
Ruhlman did her work in the lane and paint, driving to the hoop and cleaning up the boards. Childress spaced the floor for Warren, hitting five 3-pointers.
Kalie Dixon led Bradford with 12 points. The sophomore scored nine points in the second quarter, including one from long distance.
“Warren is exactly who we thought they were,” said Bradford coach Tony Richards. “Hands down they are the most complete team I’ve ever faced. It will be exciting to see exactly how far they can go. We need to have a short memory, focus on the next game at DuBois. We need to be where we are supposed to be defensively. And be patient and disciplined on offense. We left a lot of plays out there on the court.”
Bradford plays today at DuBois.

Otto-Eldred 53, Coudersport 35
COUDERSPORT — Otto-Eldred built a big first quarter lead and never looked back in a win heavy with North Tier League implications.
O-E and Coudersport have been the best teams in the NTL this season.
On Saturday, O-E staked their claim as the clear frontrunner over the Lady Falcons. Bri Heller earned a career-high in points with 19 while grabbing eight rebounds, three steals and two blocks. O-E head coach Shawn Gray called her performance, “absolutely dominant,” inside the paint.
Katie Sheeler earned a double-double, with 17 points and a whopping 10 steals. Anna Merry finished with eight points and joined Sheeler in hitting two 3-pointers.
“(Sheeler) was fearless attacking the basket,” said Gray. “Merry played fantastic at both ends and was relentless for 32 minutes. Brooke Close and Hannah Gordon played great floor games and made contributions the box score doesn’t show.”
Emma Chambers led Coudersport with 11 points and pulled down five boards.
Coudy’s offense scored in spurts and their 3-point shooting was solid, but O-E’s defense was too much in the end. Still, the Lady Terrors have another game against Coudy and won’t let this one go to their heads.
“We have the ultimate respect for that Coudersport team and their coaches,” Gray said. “Every year they’re the team in our league that everybody knows will be at or near the top.”
