The Bradford girls indoor track team competed at the SPIRE Ohio Championship Preview meet in Geneva, Ohio over the weekend.
The 4×200-meter relay team of Emily Prince, Alexia Corignani, Bella Prince and Abbigail Schleicher finished 11th with a time of 1:55.9. Corignani also finished 14th in the 60-meter hurdles, while Schleicher was 17th in the 200-meter dash.
Bella Prince was 49th in 60-meter dash and 51st in the 200 dash, and Emily Prince finished 70th in the 60 dash and 79th in the 200 dash. Marissa Miller finished 23rd in the 400 dash and 30th in the 800 run, Marissa Newman was 61st in the 60 dash and 73rd in the 200 dash, and Leila Bines was 52nd in the 800 and 66th in the 1600.
Chloe Button was 26th in shot put, Kendall Case was 32nd in long jump, Milania Van Scoter was 34th in the long jump, Maddie Emerson finished 49th in the 400, Mayla Smith was 72nd in the 1600 and Lillian Erickson was 77th in the 60.
“It was a very good meet… top competition for every event,” Bradford coach Larry Stillman said. “We improved in all our events, and it was a great experience for our athletes to compete at this excellent facility.”
The Lady Owls will next compete at Edinboro on Feb. 12.
