GALETON — A big third quarter helped Galeton pad their lead behind double-digit efforts from Alli Macensky and Lauren Sauley.
Macensky led all scorers with 17 points including a triple while Sauley poured in 11 points.
Ella Brewer and Isabella Rees scored in double-digits for Austin. Brewer had 12 points and five steals while Rees had 11 points, five steals and a block.
What hurt Austin the most was free throw shooting. They went to the line 18 times but made just five of their attempts.
Galeton will visit O-E on Monday.

EMPORIUM — Anna Merry, Brooke Close and Katie Sheeler unleashed Otto-Eldred’s 3-point attack as the Lady Terrors cruised to victory over Cameron County.
Merry, Close and Sheeler hit three 3-pointers each. O-E hit as many triples as CC took trips to the free throw line. Sheeler finished with 21 points while Merry and Close each had 11 on the night.
“Another night where we got contributions from a lot of players,” said O-E head coach Shawn Gray. “I thought we played very well defensively and offensively, the ball movement was outstanding tonight.”
Mikenna Farabaugh led CC with eight points including two from deep.
O-E plays Galeton at home on Monday.

ULYSSES — Excellent free throw shooting carried Coudersport to a close win over Northern Potter.
The Lady Falcons shot 14-for-16 from the free throw line, with Liz Frame and Belle Porterfield both going 4-for-4 and Emma Chambers and Savannah and Sierra Myers going 2-for-2. Frame led the team with 16 points on the night.
NoPo kept it close most of the night and tied it to end the third quarter.
Rebecca Martin led with 14 points including a 3-pointer and she pulled down eight rebounds. Courtney Martin had five points and 10 boards while Megan Hyde nabbed three steals.
“The girls played defense from tip-off to the final buzzer,” said NoPo head coach Casey Cady. “They left it all on the floor. I’m proud regardless of the outcome.”

AUSTIN — In a game with multiple lead changes, Coudersport’s 3-point shooting helped them win two games in two days.
Christian Furman led Coudy with 19 points while hitting a trio of triples. Furman had 14 points in the second half to prevent the game from being as close as it had been in the first half. Garrett Kellert had 12 points for the Falcons including a perfect 4-for-4 from the stripe. Brady Streich chipped in 10 points as well.
Jacob Hooftallen led Austin with 14 points and eight rebounds. Adam Lucas added 10 points for Austin while Dawson Hooftallen had eight rebounds as well as a 3-pointer.
