Women’s Literary Club
The Women’s Literary Club met on Friday, at the Hill Memorial United Methodist Church Family Life Center. President Gae Colligan welcomed current members as well as new member Martha Rhodes, and guest Marsha Dowd.
Frannie Runyan, representing the Nominating Committee, announced a need for volunteers for various positions. Voting for next year’s officers will take place on Friday, Feb. 18. Vice-president Mary Lou Detweiler introduced guest speaker Betsy Costello. Costello is an active member of Save Bradford Hospital, a group of concerned citizens committed to the Bradford community and hospital. Costello’s talk was very interesting and informative, according to members of the club. The tea committee members who decorated and served were Detweiler, Ann Esch, Bonnie Frisina and Karolyn Graves.
The Women’s Literary Club will next meet on Friday.
