EMPORIUM — Kayleigha Dowell’s double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds led Port Allegany to a win over Cameron County.
Down five at halftime, Dowell scored nine points in the third quarter to spearhead a 17-point period for Port. Ella Moses scored nine points, grabbed 13 rebounds and notched five steals for the Lady Gators.
CC was led by Delaney Rowan who scored nine points. CC’s foul trouble was critical in the game. They only went to the free throw line five times while sending Port to the charity stripe 25 times.
CC visits Northern Potter on Thursday while Port hosts Galeton.

AUSTIN — Big games from Elizabeth Hungiville and Abby Lutz powered Smethport to a win over Austin.
Austin held a one point lead at halftime.
After a big first quarter, Smethport’s offense was held in check while the Lady Panthers scored nine. Ella Brewer had four points in the second quarter en route to a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Isabella Rees led the team, scoring 14 points and nabbing four steals.
But Lutz exploded in the third quarter.
She hit three 3-pointers and led the Lady Hubbers to a nine-point lead heading into the fourth quarter. Hungiville scored evenly throughout the whole game, putting up six points in the final frame to guarantee a Smethport win. She finished with 18 and eight rebounds while Lutz finished with 17. Coryn McClain had six points, 11 rebounds, three assists and a steal while Danielle Nelson had six assists.
Austin heads to Coudersport on Thursday while Smethport hosts Otto-Eldred.

GALETON — Coudersport’s long-range shooting helped them to a 32 point win over Galeton.
Savannah Myers led all scorers with 17 points and hit two 3-pointers. Emma Chambers hit another two triples while finishing with 13 points for Coudy.
Galeton was led by Alli Macenski who had eight points on the night.

SHINGLEHOUSE — Northern Potter routed Oswayo Valley, taking a six-point first quarter lead and not looking back.
Rebecca Martin scored 15 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lead all scorers and NoPo. Courtney Martin helped out with NoPo’s defense grabbing 12 boards while Kayden Brown got seven rebounds and notched four steals. Makenzie Mesler scored four points to lead OV.

DUBOIS — St. Marys edged out DuBois in a defensive battle.
Isabelle Caskey scored eight points to lead St. Marys while Izzy Geist-Stalone had six points for DuBois. DuBois fouled twice as much as St. Marys in the contest.

JOHNSONBURG — Kaci Stelene’s seven point third quarter helped break open the game for Johnsonburg.
Stelene scored 20 points for Jburg, with 12 points coming in the second half. Kane was led by Mia Anderson with eight points. The Lady Wolves were hurt by their 18 fouls, sending Jburg to the free throw line 18 times, where they converted 11, the amount Jburg won by.
