EMPORIUM — Hayden Brown’s 29-point performance, fueled largely by a difference-making third quarter, led Cameron County to a 61-39 Monday victory over Coudersport.
Brown scored 15 of his game-high 29 tallies in the third stanza, a quarter in which the Red Raiders doubled up the Falcons, 26-13. Up to that point, CC had maintained just a seven-point halftime lead.
Brown followed it up with eight more points in the fourth quarter, while Alan Erickson scored eight of his 10 points in the second half. Brevin Lewis tacked on eight points for the Red Raiders, while Camdyn Allison added seven points.
Christian Furman led Coudy with six points, while Garrett Kellert tacked on 13 points. CC made the most of its charity stripe attempts, converting 7-of-9 free throws, while Coudy hit just 3-of-8 shots from the line.

ST. MARYS — St. Marys started the week out on the right foot, rebounding from a Friday loss with a blowout victory over Johnsonburg.
The Flying Dutchmen built a nine-point halftime lead, but put the Rams away in the third quarter, when they out-scored Jburg 9-1. Zack Thorwart paced the St. Marys offense with eight points, while Tanner Fox added seven points and Hunter Hetrick tacked on six.
The Dutch got scoring contributions from up and down their roster, as seven players scored at least four points.
Kole Asti and Jack Elmquist each scored five points for the Rams.
