ST. MARYS — Isabella Catalone scored a game-high 10 points, leading St. Marys over Ridgeway in the first round of the Elk County Holiday Tournament.
Catalone got help from Maura and Isabelle Caskey, who scored eight and six points, respectively, while Jenna Kasmierski led Ridgway with nine points and Peyton Delhunty tacked on eight points for the Lady Elkers.
St. Marys will play Elk County Catholic in the tournament’s championship game at 6:30 p.m. tonight, while Ridgway will tip-off against Johnsonburg in the girls consolation game at 3 p.m.

ST. MARYS — Elk County Catholic was led by a pair of double-digit scorers, as a win over Ridgway punched the Lady Crusaders’ ticket to tonight’s Elk County Holiday Tournament final.
Sydney Alexander poured in 12 points while Emily Mourer added 11 points, helping to turn an eight-point halftime lead into a double-digit win. Jburg was led by Annasophia Stauffer, who scored 11 points.
ECC will play St. Marys at 6:30 p.m., while Johnsonburg will play Ridgway in the girls consolation game at 3:30 p.m.

WELLSBORO — Coudersport took a 10 point first quarter lead and never looked back in a road win.
Liz Frame and Emma Chambers combined for five 3-pointers, two and three respectively, as Coudy dominated from distance. The Lady Falcons lived up to their namesake, hitting seven 3-pointers and shooting 8-11 from the free throw line. Frame finished with 13 points and Chambers with 12 to lead the team.
Emma Coolidge was tough underneath for Wellsboro. She finished with 13 points and went to the free throw line 10 times.

ULYSSES — Northern Potter never trailed in a dominant showing at home.
Rebecca Martin and Courtney Martin led with 19 and 16 points respectively. Courtney Martin hit three 3-pointers in the win. They combined for 18 rebounds.
North Penn-Mansfield was led by Ella Farrer who had 11 points.
“I was happy to be able to get every girl on the floor tonight,” said NoPo head coach Casey Cady.

KANE — Gwen Siegel’s 18 points led North Clarion to a comfortable win over Kane.
Siegel had eight points in the first quarter as NC put up 20 to take a commanding lead early-on. She was the only player for NC to score in double-digits, but it didn’t matter, with nine players scoring for North Clarion.
Maya Smith and Mia Anderson had 11 and 10 points for Kane in the loss. They helped the Lady Wolves trim the deficit to 10 in the second quarter, but it wasn’t enough to comeback against North Clarion.
