Music, a children’s skit and an inspiring message will highlight Open Arms Church’s annual Christmas Eve’s Eve Service on Thursday.
“The Christmas Story changed the world forever. It rewrote human history, and changed the way that every human being would interact with God forever,” said Lead Pastor Zoe Hatcher. “It was a great and powerful move of God, and yet it started with something simple. Simple people, who simply trusted God and took simple steps of faith.”
The services — to be held at 6 and 8 p.m. at 1289 E. Main St. in Foster Township — will feature such music as “Go Tell It On The Mountain” to “Away in a Manger.” The church’s Children’s Ministry will also perform a Christmas skit. Hatcher will deliver a message as well.
Transportation is also being provided for the 6 p.m. service. Pickup times and locations include 5:30 p.m. at the Barbour Street public housing near the VFW Bradford Post 212; 5:35 p.m., Marilyn Horne Hall at Marilyn Horne Way; 5:40 p.m., Tops entrance at 150 E. Main St.; and 5:45 p.m., Togi’s Sub Station at 402 E. Main St.
The 6 p.m. service will also be streamed on the church’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
