SMETHPORT — A Bradford man was sentenced recently in McKean County Court to serve time in state prison for theft.
Christian C. Clark, 31, of Bradford, was sentenced to 9 to 24 months incarceration, given credit for 118 days of time served and deemed eligible for boot camp on charges of theft by unlawful taking and retail theft. He was also ordered to make restitution to Pete Dzirkalis, owner of Just Riding Along bicycle shop in Bradford, of $2,000.
Kelly Sturtevant, 27, of Smethport, was sentenced to 102 days to 12 months incarceration, given credit for 102 days time served, and ordered to serve 12 months probation and perform 50 hours community service on a charge of aggravated assault.
In May, when state troopers were attempting to take her to the hospital for evaluation, she fought with them, kicked several things inside the patrol car and kicked the troopers, according to the criminal complaint.
Garrett Trimm, 21, of Smethport, was sentenced to 12 days to 12 months incarceration, 23.5 months of probation and 50 hours community service on charges including terroristic threats, assault and disorderly conduct.
In May, he threatened and assaulted someone in Port Allegany, the criminal complaint alleged.
Noah Hurrle, 28, of Port Allegany, was sentenced to one to two years of incarceration, with credit for one day of time served, on a charge of strangulation — domestic violence. He was ordered to write a letter of apology to the victim.
David Everly, 26, of Bradford, was ordered to serve 60 days to 12 months incarceration, given credit for 144 days of time served and ordered to perform 80 hours of community service for violating the drug act. Charges dismissed in consideration of the plea included allegations of sexual assault.
Andrew Kroah, 24, of Bradford, was sentenced to 18 months probation and 80 hours community service for possessing an offensive weapon and possessing a controlled substance. He was in possession of metal knuckles and a controlled substance.
Triston Thompson, 25, of Foley, Alabama, was sentenced to 12 months probation and 100 hours community service on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and a firearms violation.
Thompson was a passenger in a car pulled over by police, and was in possession of a firearm without a permit and of paraphernalia.
David Cabisca, 26, of Bradford, was sentenced to 41 days to 12 months incarceration, given credit for 41 days of time served and ordered to perform 50 hours community service for defiant trespass, harassment and criminal mischief. According to the criminal complaint, in March, he was in a Mount Jewett home without permission and wouldn’t leave.
David Kelsey, 49, of Bradford, was sentenced to 6 to 12 months in McKean County Jail, concurrent to a prior sentence, for defaulting in a required appearance.
