The Bradford YMCA Barracudas beat the Titusville YMCA Tiger Sharks 593-524 at home on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021.
The stands were full and a very competitive meet was held. There were 10 swimmers who qualified for the Western PA district meet to be held in March. The team now has 12 individual qualifiers for the meet.
Qualifying for the district meet were Karsyn Gracey-Dalton (400 IM, 200 breast, 100 breast), Steven Williams (400 IM, 200 back,100 back), Harris Bell (400 IM), Lauryn Ball (200 IM, 200 back, 100 back), Laryssa Webster (50 free, 200 back, 500 free, 100 free, 100 butterfly, 200 butterfly, 100 back), Micah Johnson (50 free, 100 free), Landon Johnson (100 back, 200 free, 50 free, 100 free), Alexis Trietley (200 free, 100 back), Bella Rhoades (100 back, 100 free, 50 free, 200 back), Blake Randall-Klouw (50 butterfly, 50 back, 100 back), Reagan Diebler (50 back) and Anna Benedict (50 back).
“The season is going well and all of the swimmers are working hard, “ said coach Barnes. “It is great to see so much enthusiasm from the team at the meets, along with some very good swimming.”
