Families who may not have the means for a Thanksgiving meal are welcome to submit an application to go on a shopping trip this Sunday.

The Thanksgiving outreach, held by Open Arms Church of Bradford, involves approved participants attending the 11 a.m. service and then heading to Walmart.

“We know that the holiday season can be stressful, and we would like to bring some peace and comfort to those who find that they are struggling this holiday,” said Annette Stark, who is the missions coordinator at the church. “We just want to bless others so they can enjoy a meal with their friends and family.”

Deadline for applications is Thursday. Submission of an application does not guarantee a family will be approved.
