Bradford woman jailed after alleged assault
A Bradford woman was arraigned Monday before District Judge Rich Luther on allegations of assaulting another person.
Fonda Frey, 59, of 284 South Ave., is charged with strangulation, a second-degree felony; simple assault, a second-degree misdemeanor; and harassment, a summary offense.
According to the criminal complaint, at 8:53 p.m. Saturday, police were called to Frey’s residence for a domestic altercation. The victim told police that she and Frey had argued, and Frey attacked her, striking her multiple times in the face and choking her with both hands, the complaint stated.
She was remanded to jail in lieu of $30,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday before District Judge Dom Cercone.
Stolen car charges

SMETHPORT — Charges against a Port Allegany man involving a car theft were bound to McKean County Court Monday at a preliminary hearing before District Judge Bill Todd.
Kenneth Lannager, 46, of 195 Lower Portage Road, is charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property, third-degree felonies; unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a second-degree misdemeanor; and disorderly conduct, a third-degree misdemeanor.
According to the criminal complaint, Port Allegany police received a report of a car being stolen from Rick’s auto. The victim’s mother had received a call that the car was parked on Wildwood Drive, so she and her son went and picked it up.
State police had seen Lannager sitting in the car on Wildwood Drive that same day, the complaint read.
Lannager remains jailed in lieu of $20,000 percentage bail.
Bradford man charged with drug allegations
A Bradford man was arraigned Monday by District Judge Dom Cercone on drug allegations from February and March of 2018.
Tyler Lucco, 33, of 1 N. Bennett St., is charged in each of two cases with delivery of a controlled substance, a felony; criminal use of a communication facility, a third-degree felony; and possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.
According to the criminal complaints, on Feb. 25, 2018, Lucco sold .14 grams of methamphetamine to an informant of the drug task force. On March 8, 2018, Lucco sold .03 grams of meth to an informant of the task force.
He was arraigned Monday before Cercone and released on a total of $10,000 unsecured bail.
