PITTSBURGH — The Oswayo Valley volleyball team’s postseason run ended Tuesday in the first round of the PIAA Class A playoffs, as the Lady Green Wave fell in straight sets to District 7 champion Bishop Canevin (25-19, 25-16, 25-15).
Jadyn Brabham tallied 13 kills, 19 digs and five blocks for OV, while Avaree Kellert had seven kills, nine digs, three blocks, an ace and an assist. Trinity Lundy tacked on 27 assists, four digs and three service points for the Lady Green Wave, and Praylan Perkins chipped in with 15 digs, six kills, three aces, seven points and a block. Jenna Freer added on eight digs, two kills, two points and an ace.
OV finishes its season at 17-2 after an impressive undefeated North Tier League campaign and the program’s first trip to the District 9 Class A finals under coach Rachelle Kellogg.
