VFW Post 212 and its Frances Sherman VFWA will honor its Veterans with a dinner on Saturday.
Cocktails will be at 5 p.m. with dinner following at 6 p.m. Shut-in Post veterans will be delivered a warm meal as well.
The ‘Missing Man Ceremony’ will be observed to honor all POW/MIA Comrades.
Guest speaker will be Thomas ‘Ace’ Hanzes. A Vietnam veteran, Ace is a Past PA State Commander (2018-2019) and hails from VFW Post 7599 in Reynolds. He has held local, district and state offices. He’ll be accompanied by Anne Cryder.
VFW Post 212 Commander Ron Peters and Frances Sherman VFWA President Amy Peterson will share in hosting the dinner/program.
Cub Scout Pack 412 will be in attendance to help serve dinners.
‘Bottoms Up’ will be entertaining starting at 8 p.m.
