Republican Megan Sullivan and Democrat Timika Lane are facing off for Pennsylvania Superior Court.
Sullivan has served as a prosecutor in the Chester County District Attorney’s office, a Deputy Attorney General in the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, a litigation attorney in private practice, and general counsel for a state university. She worked for nearly a decade as an Assistant District Attorney in Chester County from 2002 to 2012. In 2017, Sullivan became a PA Deputy Attorney General.
Lane attended the McCall School, Friends Select and West Catholic High School during her formative years. She is a graduate of Howard University in Washington D.C.Following a successful teaching career, Lane decided to pursue a career in law. In 2002, she received her Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers-Camden School of Law in New Jersey. She served as a Certified Child Advocate Attorney. Afterwards, she went on to work as a major trial attorney for the Defender Association of Philadelphia. In 2013, she was officially elected to the Court of the Common Pleas.
