Bradford Creative and Performing Arts Center has announced its annual Corporate and Patron Sponsorship Campaign for the 2021- 2022 season.
Since its founding nearly four decades ago, BCPAC has presented a wide variety of professional artists and performing troupes from around the world and realizes the importance of the arts in providing a common ground in our shared humanity. A thriving arts community, be it visiting professional, local performers or artists creating something together, speaks to a community’s health and well-being and helps strengthen our community.
“Our theme last year was ‘moving forward’ in the midst of the COVID pandemic, as we faced some of the most difficult challenges ever in the history of our nearly 40 years in the creative and performing arts industry,” said Darren Litz, Executive Director for BCPAC. “As we come into this new season of unknowns, we know the greatest way to make progress is to keep moving forward. Despite the pandemic and not having any events to help generate any income last year, the Bradford businesses and community came together to rally behind BCPAC to help keep the arts alive in our region, and for that we are truly grateful!”
BCPAC is a 501 ©3 not-for-profit organization and relies on its patrons and corporate sponsors, along with the many ticketed events they bring to the area to help support the annual budget.
Litz went on to say, “With the community’s help, we will be able to continue developing and implementing sustainable programs and projects that help promote and draw people to our region, thereby strengthening the cultural, educational, and economic vitality of our region through the arts.”
Because of the strong community support in this past year, BPCAC has been able to create a new ticketing system, launch a brand-new website with easier navigation, revise our by-laws, create a new mission statement, goals and strategic plan, along with a new logo to better prepare the organization for a new season of events and a bright future. Tax-deductible contributions to BCPAC help to maintain the daily operations for the organization with payroll, insurances, rent, utilities, professional fees, office supplies, and marketing.
“Our corporate and patron financial support also helps to fund community outreach efforts like the Heart of the Arts project to support our local creative artists; the Fall Music and Art Festival, which gathered over 2,000 people to our first event this year; as well as our annual Missoula Children’s Theatre program, the new summer REV Theatre show in the park, along with many other community events we participate in to stay connected to our arts community. If it weren’t for the generous financial support and encouragement of our community partners, we wouldn’t exist. It is because of our faithful sponsors that we can continue providing quality, diverse arts programming to impact our communities and enrich people’s lives in the Twin Tiers,” said Litz.
