CANONSBURG — Columbia Gas customers looking for solutions to improve their home’s energy efficiency and to reduce their overall energy costs may qualify for WarmWise, a series of energy-saving programs available from Columbia Gas.

Customer can find out what programs they may qualify for by using the eligibility calculator or calling 1-800-537-7431 to speak with a Columbia Gas representative.
“We want our customers to know that Columbia Gas has programs that can help,” said Deb Davis, manager of Universal Services for Columbia Gas. “If customers are struggling with energy costs, our WarmWise series of energy-saving programs can help customers identify where their homes may be losing energy and provide solutions to help them save energy and money.”
WarmWise LIURP is a free home weatherization program which assists eligible customers in reducing their home’s natural gas consumption by identifying and remedying areas in the home where heat escapes. The free program is designed specifically for customers with low-incomes and high gas usage.
WarmWise Audits & Rebates is available to customers who may not qualify for other programs and offers a free home energy audit, an energy-efficiency plan with estimated cost savings, and, when appropriate, a programmable thermostat, such as a Nest Learning Thermostat, and rebates for the installation of audit-recommended measures. Audits are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and rebates of up to $1,800 are available for the following measures:
• Efficient Heating Equipment
• Insulation
• Air Sealing
• Gas Water Tank
In addition to WarmWise, Columbia Gas offers tips for saving energy around the home and also offers other assistance programs that include flexible payment options, budget plans and income-eligible support.
