VFW Post 212 and Frances Sherman VFWA have announced the 2021-2022 essay contests for students.
Voice of Democracy audio-essay contest is for students in grades 9 — 12. This year’s theme is “America: Where Do We Go From Here?” Students do not have to be related to a member.
Rules must be followed and entries must be in the hands of a Post or Auxiliary member by Oct. 31. Monetary awards can be won at local, District, State and National levels if entry is deemed to move on. Applications, complete rules and eligibility can be obtained at VFW Post 212 or online at vfw.org/community/youth-and-education.
The Patriot’s Pen essay contest is for students in grades 6 — 8. This years theme is “How Can I Be A Good American?”
