SMETHPORT (EC) — Vendor spaces are still available for the McKean County Historical Society’s fourth Arts on the Island Craft and Car Show Oct. 2 in Smethport’s Hamlin Lake Park.
The hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p. m.
“Our crafters make what they sell,” said Bart Barton, co-chairman of the event, along with Lu Vandermark.
Vendors who wish to participate should contact Vandermark, executive secretary, at the Old Jail Museum by email at mchsmuseum@verizon.net or by phone at 814-887-5142 between 10:30 a. m. and 4 p. m. weekdays as soon as possible.
The car show is slated from 10 a. m. to 4 p.m. Registration opens at 9 a. m. Trophies will be awarded at 4 p. m.
Music will be featured throughout the day. DJ Gerry Ford will play hits from the 50s and 60s. Other performers are also planning to appear on the mini-stage.
Access to Hamlin Lake Park can be made by either West Water Street or West Willow Street.
