Abigail T. Digel married Peter Frey on June 12, 2021 in Leadville, Colo. Jacob Digel, the bride’s brother, was the minister for the nuptials.
Abigail is a 2005 Bradford Area High School graduate who received her B.A. from Colorado College in 2009 and her M.S. from Syracuse University in 2017. She is the daughter of Martin and Deborah Digel of Bradford. Abigail works as a librarian in Denver, Colo.
Peter is a 2007 Boulder High School graduate who received his B.S. from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2012 and his M.S. from Syracuse University in 2017. He is the son of Julie Naster and Robert Frey of Nederland, Colo.
The wedding party included Maid of Honor Hilary Digel of Royal Oak, Mich. Best Woman Gwynnie Wienecke of Chapel Hill, N.C., Groomsman David Wienecke of Chapel Hill, N.C., and one bridesmaid, Shaun Digel of Pittsford, N.Y.; Georgie Digel of Pittsford, N.Y., as the flower girl and Cal Wienecke of Chapel Hill, N.C., as the ring bearer. The newlyweds will reside in Denver, Colo.
