McKean County is considered to be at substantial risk of transmission of COVID-19, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention COVID Data Tracker.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health’s COVID-19 monitoring dashboard showed on Monday that McKean County had 15 more confirmed cases than the previous seven-day period.
McKean County currently has a 56.6 per 100,000 rate of transmission and 10.3% percent positivity, up 3.3% from the previous seven-day period.
Elk County reported 16 more confirmed cases over the last seven days. According to the dashboard data, Elk County has an incidence rate of 66.0 per 100,000 residents and an 11.4% percent positivity, up 6.7% from the previous seven-day period.
Potter County reported 4 more cases, with an incidence rate of 90.8 per 100,000 residents and an 11% percent positivity, up .2% from the previous seven-day period.
Cameron County reported no new cases over a seven-day period, with an incidence rate of 22.5 per 100,000 residents and 2.6% percent positivity, down 1.7% from the previous seven-day period.
According to the department of health, McKean County had 2,987 confirmed and 925 probable cases as of Monday. There have been 75 deaths in the county attributed to COVID-19. Elk County has 1,627 confirmed and 1,336 probable cases, with 42 deaths attributed to the coronavirus. Potter County has 1,120 confirmed and 161 probable cases, with 26 deaths attributed to COVID-19, and Cameron County has reported 224 confirmed and 104 probable cases, with 10 deaths attributed to COVID-19.
