A Bradford man was arraigned in Bradford on Aug. 14 on allegations that he assaulted a female victim.
Todd Hale Jr, 29, is charged with strangulation — applying pressure to throat or neck, a second degree felony; manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, a felony; simple assault, a second degree misdemeanor; two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of marijuana possession — small amount for personal use, all misdemeanors.
According to reports, at approximately 3:10 p.m. on Aug. 14, police investigated a reported assault on an adult female. The female victim reported she had been choked and hit by her boyfriend Todd Hale Jr and exhibited injuries visible to officers.
Hale was located and taken into custody, at which time he was found to be in possession of several different controlled substances, including methamphetamines, according to police reports.
Hale was arraigned and remanded to McKean County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
