Anyone interested in participating in any outdoor events today is in for a treat.
Steve Travis, meteorologist for the National Weather Service in State College, said it should be mostly sunny, with low humidity and highs in the lower 70s, dropping down into the lower 50s at night.
“Looks like Saturday will be the best day of the weekend,” noted Travis. “It will be a good day to be outside if anyone has outdoor plans.”
For those feeling adventurous, why not take a trip to Kinzua Bridge State Park? While there, feel free to take a hike on the 3.8 mile Knox Kane Rail Trail. Additionally, it will also be prime weather for the “Tasting in the Wilds” event in Ridgway, with wine, beer and spirits available for everyone’s taste.
The trend of cool, low-humidity weather will continue on throughout the next several days, with showers possible tomorrow afternoon and a high around 74 degrees. Temperatures will remain in the mid 70s to low 80s throughout the rest of the week, with some chances of rain Wednesday through Friday.
As for precipitation, Travis said Bradford is currently in third place for the wettest July on record, at 6.75 inches for the month.
