WARREN — The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service is accepting public comments on a proposal to renew and consolidate special use permits held by National Fuel Gas Supply Corporation and National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation on the Allegheny National Forest.

The corporations hold several special use permits for pipelines, roads, and other facilities and infrastructure related to the supply and distribution of natural gas. The Forest Service is proposing to reauthorize these uses for a new term, and consolidate the permits into one for each company.

Comments regarding our proposal are requested by Aug. 31, 2021, and may be submitted to comments-eastern-allegheny@usda.gov.
