BROOKVILLE — Sen. Cris Dush, R-Brookville, will be hosting a series of “Talk with the Senator” events for local community leaders throughout the area.
“It is designed to provide an opportunity for us to meet each other in an informal setting and lay the foundation for future productive cooperation,” Dush said. “I want to hear the issues and concerns of local officials and my district staff and I look forward to discussing ways my office can be of assistance to you.”
There will be a session in St. Marys at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 9 at the St. Marys School District; at the Emporium Fire Department Hall at 8 a.m. Aug. 10; and at the Potter County Lumber Museum at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 10.

In addition to Dush’s staff, there will be staff from the Office of Grants and Funding Resources. Information will be available on a wide variety of state grants, loans, purchasing programs and tax credits. A Pennsylvania Municipal Leaders Guide will be available for everyone who attends.
The sessions are open to elected officials, first responders, chambers of commerce employees or conservation district employees in the 25th Senatorial District.
