WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. – The board of directors of the National Fuel Gas Company Foundation, the charitable giving arm of National Fuel Gas Company, recently held its quarterly meeting and approved Foundation grants.
Grant recipients in Pennsylvania: Elkland Search & Rescue is a volunteer emergency response team based in Elk County that serves the region and the state in search and rescue response. The grant will assist in the purchase of a utility terrain vehicle.
Susquehanna Health Foundation is the philanthropic arm of UPMC in north-central Pennsylvania, including hospitals UPMC Wellsboro and UPMC Williamsport. The grant will go toward physical medicine and rehabilitation expansion and renovations.
These contributions serve numerous communities throughout the Company’s service territory and meet critical needs, including emergency, health and human services, and workforce development, according to David P. Bauer, President and Chief Executive Officer of National Fuel, who serves as the Foundation President.
