WARREN — U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service announced that a traffic hazard exists where a small subsidence occurred in the underlying slope of Longhouse Scenic Drive in Allegheny National Forest.
To protect travelers, traffic is restricted to one lane. Safety barriers and warning signs are in place.
Longhouse Scenic Drive and all adjacent recreation sites remain open. For their safety, travelers should reduce speed, use caution, and obey traffic signs.
“We apologize to our visitors for the inconvenience on Longhouse Scenic Drive and encourage travelers to drive safely as we plan repairs to the road,” said Bradford District Ranger Rich Hatfield.
