KANE — The Kane Area Chamber of Commerce is planning the first Kane Wine Walk for Aug. 6.
Eight local wineries will be paired with eight retail businesses on Fraley & Field streets in Kane. All of these businesses and more will be open until 8 pm.
There will be a Porter service for the convenience of all participants, and everything purchased that day can be picked up at the Chamber office at the end of the event.
This is the list of wineries and the retail spaces where they will be set up:

Rich Valley Wines at Keystoned Cafe & Natural Shoppe
Allegheny Wine Cellars at Chickie & Co.
Twisted Vine Winery at Field Street Boots
The Winery at Wilcox at Laughing Owl Press
Flickerwood Winery at The Crooked Hem
Wagon Wheel Wines at Photo & Sound Shoppe
The Chamber of Commerce encourages everyone to stay in town after they finish the Wine Walk to grab some dinner at one of the many excellent establishments in Kane. The Band Chaz will also be performing at the Amphitheater that evening.
Registration for the Kane Wine Walk is $20 in advance, or $25 the day of, and includes a commemorative tasting glass. The title event sponsor is Seneca Resources. Proceeds benefit the Kane Chamber of Commerce.
To register, contact Heather at (814) 837-6565 or info@kanepa.com. Cash, check and credit card payments will be accepted in person or over the phone. Be prepared to sign up for a start time when you register. Start times are every 30 minutes between 3-6 p.m.
