The Kane Area Food Pantry monthly distribution will be from noon until 4 p.m. on Friday from at the St. Callistus Roman Catholic Church in Kane.

The Food Pantry will distribute pre-packed boxes at the corner of Chase and Haines Streets in a drive-dhru style. No more than two households per carload and participants are asked to have a space cleared in the trunk or back seat for the boxes. New clients are asked to call 814-598-6162 or 814-594-6918 before Wednesday in order to ensure enough boxes are prepared.

Persons who wish to receive food items are asked to come at the following times, according to the first letter of their last name.

For July, the schedule is:

Noon to 1 p.m. — L through R

1 to 2 p.m. — S through Z

2 to 3 p.m. — A through E

3 to 4 p.m. — F through K

Individuals must come during their scheduled time or after that time and bring proof of identity and address.

Only persons living in the Kane Area School District are eligible.
