WILCOX — Friends of Twin Lakes ANF continues to work to provide a beautiful, well kept recreation area for the enjoyment of area residents. Along with all the hard work that goes into keeping the area maintained, free events have been scheduled to allow attendees to unwind.
Ian from Unwired will play from 3 to 6 p.m. July 17 and Simple Jack will follow from 6 to 10 pm. Open Mic Night will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. July 31
Summer of George will perform from 6 to 10 p.m. Aug 6, while another Open Mic Night will conclude the summer schedule, set for 6 to 10 p.m. Aug 21.
The popular Family Fun Weekend will be held Sept. 3-5. A schedule of events will be released on the Friends of Twin Lakes ANF Facebook page as soon as it is finalized.
Past events have included glow wiffle ball, a nature hike, scavenger hunt, cornhole tournament, etc. The “Light up the Lake” fundraiser will take place on Sept. 4 starting at dusk and there will be an Open Mic Night from 6-10 p.m. the same day.
Twin Lakes is open for everyone to enjoy camping, picnicking, fishing, hiking, etc.
